| Thinking back on my choice of the subject.....I sort of wish I had the strength to believe in god. Well, I actually I feel that's more like ignorance...but anywho, believing in god would be really beneficial for someone like me, who has a limited amount of people to talk to about everything. As of late, I have more or less lost a piece of myself. Not sure what that piece is and how important it really is to me, but I don't feel very right. Even when I'm happy it's not as good as it should be. Any emotion, really, has been dulled in the past few months. I suppose that's flat affect and is a symptom of depression, but haha we're just not going to think about that.
I can't even begin to understand my family right now and I'm not sure I want to. I feel so bad for not being around my siblings as they grow up...and it makes it even worse that I'm not even enjoying living on my own. I mean yea, it's great that I can do what I want when I want to do it, but what does that really mean...? For me, that pretty much meant losing a friend who I thought (and I guess I was really wrong) was my best. Regardless, nothing compares to the detachment I've felt with my family recently. What my dad did was unbelievable (or perhaps believable, but unpredicted?), but my mom has also never been too understanding nor will she be able to now, after mormor dying and the bankruptcy and everything else in her life that depresses the shit out of her. To basically boil it down to the bare emotions of a child, it's all just really sad.
I'm not even that depressed about losing friends. After all, I did gain John, who I know will be there for me whether or not we're going out. He's also one of the best friends ever because he actually has valid opinions that he can back up and you can actually have a conversation with him. I've had friends like this, but none that are around me right now. I'm trying to talk to Rebekka but who knows.
I guess that there's something wrong with me. Apparently, the love I feel for people is never reflected when I talk to them or hang out with them. I cared about Des so much and saw her as my best friend almost immediately after meeting her. Now I feel like meeting her was a fucking waste of my time and it rips me in half to watch her put other people in front of me. All those times I sat there and listened to her bitch about Carrie and Rachael, just to watch her be two-faced. Unbelievable. Well, no, not quite unbelievable. Because shortly after living with her, I realized what a shitty person she really is and how little she cares about anyone. How she puts herself at the center of everything and can't stand being alone. How she bitches about her dog being mistreated but she can't even fucking take care of her, and when she does, she does it all wrong. How she can't clean because I guess on top of everything else in life, her mom nevere taught her that either. Fine time to fucking realize all of this now, huh?
I am an extremely caring person and I know I have problems sometimes, but so does everyone. I am always there for whoever needs me and I don't fucking pass judgement until I get to the point where I just start feeling like fucking garbage and I passed that point with her a couple months ago. She doesn't give a shit.

| Sometimes I really wonder why the hell I can't just disappear from reality for awhile. Life would be pretty cool if you could just get away from problems every now and then. Then again, people would never fucking do anything and just run away from shit constantly. Ahh well...I have sort of had this problem lately where no matter what kind of person I am, no one's happy. And I guess it's been a problem for about 10 years now...I know perfectionism pushes me to do things but sometimes it just breaks my will. I try so hard to be all the fucking things everyone wants me to be and I can't fucking do it all the time. And then people get pissed. As if they've never let anyone down in their perfect lives. Craaazy. People feel the need to tell me things that I'm already aware of, that I've been aware of for a long time as a matter of fact, mostly due to my mother and her incessant ranting. I was nicer when I was younger but the bitchiness that has grown with me isn't really something that I hate about myself. I know that I'm very sarcastic. That's who I am; how the FUCK can I apologize?? I refuse. If you don't like it, don't be my friend - yea, it truly is that simple. It really doesn't keep people away because I've had awesome friends before. Actually, the one thing that I wish I could've gotten help for was my social anxiety thing. I really hate self-diagnosing myself, but I totally fit the pathetic, absurd description that is social anxiety disorder. And I don't suppose it's unlikely that my depression trailed that. I know it's not unlikely. Because I'm so awkward around new people/situations, my shyness comes off as hostility a lot of the time. And I'm sure people who havent studied disorders or anything like it are probably thinking, 'well if you know what's wrong and you know it's stupid to think that way, then fix it.' Fixing this problem would be AWESOME. So fucking euphoric. Because I would be able to have more friends, I would actually talk to boys that I think are cute, I wouldn't say no to going somewhere just because there's people out. This, in addition to some random unfortunate experiences in my past and my (mildly) fucked genetics really helped to make me stubborn. I've had so many people not give a shit about anything I've ever said or actually make fun of me for stuff that it definitely made me more introverted than I should be. I probably should get help for this sometime soon because it definitely brings me down when people that I love to death and would do almost anything for can't understand me because I can't just chill out once in awhile. The racing thoughts are soooo bad, I sometimes can't say anything at all.
